What: Advanced Factoring Symposium
Where: Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas NV
When: Thursday, October 18, 2012 – Friday October 19, 2012
This Advanced Symposium is designed to identify and consider how to address business and legal issues that arise in a factoring business; beginning with the structuring of a deal up-front to managing a client relationship in order to limit or mitigate potential losses. Time will be spent analyzing these issues as well as other topics in an open discussion setting.
Some Discussion Topics Include:
- How to get, administer and manage factoring relationships with a client that is in a Chapter 11 Reorganization Case
- Critically analyzing good deals that went bad and why they went bad
- Problems that crop up during the administration of a factoring relationship and how to handle them
- Buying accounts from companies that sell to niche account debtors and how to best deal with some unusual implications.
